About the DISPLAY Exhibition
Fleisher Art Memorial’s first edition of the international exhibition Display will feature the audio visual work of 12 artists or collectives projected through large size windows from the Suzanne Fleisher & Ralph Joel Roberts Gallery in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. These windows face the diverse region of Southeast Philadelphia. For this reason Fleisher Art Memorial seeks audio visual works that establishes a conversation dealing with international immigrant’s issues, conditions, and exodus manifestations in the recent years.

The deadline is December 1st and artists may apply online at http://www.fleisher.org/exhibitions/display.php or by mail at the address listed on the application.

Jurying & Selection Process
An artist-juror and curator-juror will review application materials and select 12 entries for exhibition. Selected candidates will be notified via email by December 20, 2013.

Awards
• Selected films will be featured in a five-week exhibition in the Suzanne Fleisher and Ralph Joel Roberts Gallery.
• Included in Fleisher’s publications, electronic & print announcements, and an artists profile on Fleisher’s online Display database.

Exhibition Schedule
The Display exhibition will be held in the Suzanne Fleisher and Ralph Joel Roberts Gallery. The 2013-2014 Display show will be open February 14 - April 12, 2014. All 12 films will be shown during an opening reception on February 14, 2014. Six of the selected films will be shown February 14 – March 14 and the remaining six films will be shown March 15 – April 12. The Exhibition Staff will determine final scheduling.
