The TRANSFERA VIDEO ART TV (www.transfera.es/programa37.html) and MADATAC OPEN CONTEMPORARY AUDIO VISUAL MOSTRA (www.madatac.es) call for 2010 is open.

It is left open without restrictions the call to select, by meansof a criteria in which will be valued particularly the quality,the experimentation, the innovation and the risk, the creations ofall those audio-visual artists who wish that their works arepromoted and broadcasted through a weekly and independent programof television broadcasted at La Central Digital/Canal Autor, acable channel based in Madrid, Spain (Abdón Terradas nº4, 28015).

The content of the tv program Transfera is exclusively dedicatedto divulgue videoart in all its modalities (any processes ofimage-sound interaction, without exclusion of the experimentalcinema), with the aim to disclose to the great public a view ofthe consolidated videoartists and offer a platform for all thoseemergent videoartists with a future projection who contribute withrenewing proposals, avoid  conventional visual language and  doesnot find their place in other mass media spaces.

Due to the difficult challenge that supposes to raise a project ofthis spread, destined essentially to compensate the well-knownmediatic absence, in this first stage of non-profit test andconsolidation of Transfera, the relation with the artists will bebased on a principle of promotion and visibility,  a guidelinedirected to strengthen the sustainability of the program.
There is no deadline nor restrictions for the age of theparticipants or for the amount of material desired to send.

All the participants can also send a brief  promotional videoabout themselves and their work (not more than 4 minutes long),that will be included within the program as a presentation oftheir art.The interested must send their works in a PAL DVD or video formatmpeg or mov uncompressed files, (720x576 resolution, preferably16:9, but 4:3 is also accepted), with an acceptable quality forbroadcasting, an jpg image of the video, a  brief  CV with theirpersonal data, contact and a signed permission form to: TRANSFERAC/Galeno 41 28232 Las Rozas-Madrid (SPAIN).

Transfera cannot return the sent material. However, all thereceived material will enter, unless the authors express thecontrary, in the selection for the II Edition of MADATAC, the OpenFestival of Contemporary Audio-Visual Art that Transfera MediaArts will organize in Madrid, Spain, on December 2010.This event will serve to prize the best videos emitted in theprogram during this time among the selected participants as acompensation for their support.Also, it will be again an opportunity to watch and enjoy the mostexperimental and innovative audio visual creations, to meet theartist's and the scholar's of the future, to buy brand new videoart pieces and to learn what is really moving this particularartistic discipline.

In the case that the piece is selected, Transfera will send asubmission form with the agreement for  broadcast permission andrights clearance to be signed by you.

Participation in this project implies the acceptance of its rules.
