International Media Arts Collaboratory is a two-week group residency.  We view the collaboratory as a relational platform in which media arts specialists from around the world come together to collaborate among themselves and/or with the local community in the creation and appreciation of media arts for knowledge sharing and cross-fertilization of skills.  Participants will live and work together in our arts village or homestay in the rural township we serve.  Project welcomes individual or team proposals involving artistic production, or theoretical presentations on how media arts contribute to the global marketplace of ideas. The theme is open.

Organizers will provide accommodation and food; an accepted applicant will contribute participation fee of €200 toward food.  The international participant is responsible for costs of own airfare and proposed project.  We suggest that participants apply for travel grants through their national art councils or other sources. To register, candidates should send CV/resume and a motivational letter on your proposed work with subject "Media Arts Collaboratory" to info@nkafoundation.org/ nkaprojects@gmx.com. Applications will be reviewed until space is filled.  For details on our projects go to www.nkafoundation.org.
