LEARNING FROM LIGHT: THE VISION OF I.M. PEI

Join us for the 2010 CINEMA ORANGE Film Series, featuring films celebrating art, architecture and design, presented by the Newport Beach Film Festival and the Orange County Museum of Art.

Directed by Bo Landin and Sterling Van Wagenen, LEARNING FROM LIGHT: THE VISION OF I.M. PEI will screen on Thursday, June 17th at 8:00pm at the Orange County Museum of Art. Culture, Nature and Light: These elements provide the structure for this documentary that explores the mind and heart of one of the world’s master architects, Chinese-American I.M. Pei, while chronicling his latest creation; the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar.

2010 CINEMA ORANGE is presented conjunction with OCMA’s new exhibition 15 MINUTES OF FAME: PORTRAITS FROM ANSEL ADAMS TO ANDY WARHOL. Admission to the film is free for museum members and with paid admission into the museum. Exhibition tour begins at 7:00pm.
