OPEN CALL FOR VIDEO ART: DEADLINE MARCH 4th

The Crisp Ellert Art Museum at Flagler College invites you to submit works of video art for the annual "Jacket Video Art Showcase". This is a screening of videos submitted by national and international artists hosted at the CEAM.

Organized as a follow up to last years showcase, "Jacket" seeks to explore and expand upon commonalities, as well disparate ideas, expressed through video art. This showcase is a celebration of how video art crosses boundaries, allowing artists from vastly different areas, backgrounds, and experiences to share their experiences and ways of viewing the world in a contemporary manner.

The gallery encourages artists to submit video works of all content and concepts, as there is no theme to the show.

Videos should be no longer than ten minutes in length. Please include artist’s name, title, date, duration, and cv. Video files should be in the following formats: .MOV, .MP4, or a link to YouTube or Vimeo.

Submissions should be sent in by March 4th, 2016.

All selected works will be shown at the Crisp Ellert Art Museum on April 7th, 2016. The most exemplary submission will be chosen as the winner of the showcase and be presented with the one-of-a-kind Jacket award.
