Topic: Call for Artists: conTEXTualized:The Word as Image

Gallery RFD seeks submissions for it upcoming exhibition titled
conTEXTualized: The Word as Image.

Graffiti-scrawled walls and Ed Ruscha's wordplays; contemporary motion graphics and Rauschenberg's word-portrait of Iris Clert; El Lissitzky's Prouns and Braque's text-embedded collages—the visual world is replete with examples of language's graphical properties.

Gallery RFD seeks submissions of work in any media that explores the dynamism of language's visual representation for the upcoming exhibit "conTEXTualized: The Word as Image."
